This CWC Datalogger is monitoring energy use and production at the CGW residence.

It communicates with an SMA 'Sunny Boy' inverter via an RS485 link, and can read any or all of the inverter's internal parameter and measurement channels. Selected channels of interest are currently enabled.

There is also a Continental Control Systems 'WattNode' energy transducer monitoring total building energy usage. And, the Solar Water Heater is instrumented using several temperature probes, plus a flow meter.

Virtual Channels are implemented to calculate net building energy usage, as well as stored thermal energy and energy delivery of the solar water heater.
