The CWC Datalogging System

This system collects, stores and presents information about the performance of renewable energy systems. It is intended to be flexible, low cost (installed cost under $500) and easy to install.

To monitor something you need:

  • A CWC Datalogger (no PC)
  • Some stuff to monitor (any of):
    • A kWh meter (or other transducers) with "pulse" output
    • SMA inverters
    • Fronius Inverters
    • Outback FX/MX Inverters and Charge Controllers, with "Mate"
    • Xantrex GT Inverter
    • A Davis weather station
    • A bunch of temperature transducers and a flowmeter on a solar hot water system.
    • transducers that use the Dallas Semiconductor 1-wire standard.
      • temperature, humidity, wind, event counters
    • A silicon pyranometer, 250 mV max.
  • An Ethernet connection or dialup ISP
    • Uses ONLY http port 80 operations - no open port necessary

We provide a variety of web-based utilities for viewing your data on any PC, anywhere in the world.
